Mid and Senior Development Engineer Opportunities C/C++

Cathcart Associates are now looking for mid and senior career level Development Engineers to join our established client on a permanent basis. It is very unlikely that you will be aware of my client and the work that they do as they have not recruited regularly for development staff. My client is able and happy to consider candidates who live in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

My client has offices worldwide and is a leader in its field. They are going through a period of growth due to key, up and coming projects (involving embedded systems work) and you will be joining a multi skilled development team providing leading solutions to clients and customers.

You will be heavily involved in evaluating and reviewing current technologies used and future technology requirements to meet client/customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real mark and have a key say in where the company continues to progress technically on future projects.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in C/C++ programming
• Any experience of Embedded Operating Systems - Linux, Windows - or a desire to work with Embedded Systems
• Any hardware design experience or knowledge (this would be beneficial)
