Our client is currently seeking a Merchandising Administration Assistant to join their team in Surrey.

You will be working within the merchandising team, therefore the ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in this type of role.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for the merchandising team
  • Assisting the team with effective planning, forecasting and stock management
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure that orders are placed and that deliveries are made according to agreed timescales
  • Producing accurate and regular inventory information
  • Ensuring that our information databases are kept up to date
  • Producing analysis reports with the aim of improving overall performance
  • All ad-hoc administrative support for the team

Skills/Experience:

  • An excellent team player with good product knowledge and awareness
  • Ideally an understanding of the buying and merchandising cycle
  • Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel
  • A good level of numeracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven administration experience
