Our client is currently seeking a Merchandising Administration Assistant to join their team in Surrey.
You will be working within the merchandising team, therefore the ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing a career in this type of role.
Role/Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for the merchandising team
- Assisting the team with effective planning, forecasting and stock management
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure that orders are placed and that deliveries are made according to agreed timescales
- Producing accurate and regular inventory information
- Ensuring that our information databases are kept up to date
- Producing analysis reports with the aim of improving overall performance
- All ad-hoc administrative support for the team
Skills/Experience:
- An excellent team player with good product knowledge and awareness
- Ideally an understanding of the buying and merchandising cycle
- Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel
- A good level of numeracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven administration experience
