Morgan Hunt is currently working with a high profile watchdog organisation to recruit a Media & Communications Assistant on a 3 month temporary basis based in London.
Role of the Media & Communications Assistant
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitions candidate to develop their skill set in a broad communications role working across a range of communication channels, including media relations, social media and internal communications.
Responsibilities of the Media & Communications Assistant
•Work alongside the Press Officer to deliver an effective press office
•Provide support to our client’s Internal Communications Officer and Web Editor in delivering internal communications to keep staff updated
•Support the design, planning and delivery of major events
•Act as an ambassador for the Communications Division and help develop understanding of the services our client can provide
Candidate Requirements
•Good oral and written communication skills
•A demonstrable interest in communications with an interest in print and broadcast media
•An interest in social media tools and how organisations can use these to reach the public
