Mechanical Sales Engineer

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of TEMP-TEAM who are operating as an employment business.

Our client is currently looking for a mechanical sales engineer. You will take responsibility for the sales and service department for the Northern England area, although will be mainly focused on Teesside. The area ranges from Humberside and Lancashire up into Northern Scotland and can consist of over a hundred customers from the Mining, quarrying, Steel Making and Energy Industries.

Duties include:

• Controlling the monthly budgets and sales targets for the area.
• Reducing Service engineers time on the road by using a route finder system as standard.
• Helping implement schemes using documented leads to gain new customers effectively             
• Developing the customer base by expanding out further into other areas gaining several new customers and many more potential leads.
