Mechanical Inspector
Our client based in Basildon fabricates, assembles and repairs small to large precision parts for the Aerospace industry. They are urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector for an immediate permanent start.
The Role:
You will be responsible for first off, stage and final inspection of fine limit and aerospace sheet metal work, welded fabrication, machined components and structural/mechanical assemblies using conventional inspection equipment (e.g. micrometers) and CMM's.
Candidate:
Experience is essential rather than qualifications; however a Mechanical apprenticeship would be desirable.
Experience with Coordinate-Measuring Machines and associated PCDMIS software would be an advantage.
Ideally with own transport due to location
Benefits:
£12.31 per hour + good prospect of regular overtime (at time and a half).
39 hour week (normal)
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 16.00pm
Friday 7.30 to 14.30
