Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter - Salary £11-12 per hour DOE - Based - Yate, Bristol

Our client is a leading and well respected Precision Engineering company who design andmanufacture for the aerospace, aero engine and naval marine industries. They are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities/Skills/Experience

• To assemble/fit parts made of metal and other materials to customer's drawings and specifications
• mechanical assembly of holding cages for engines: working to technical imperial engineering drawings
• highlight any missing parts
• Assemble precision components from mechanical assembly drawings,
• utilise a broad range of workshop tools
• To pack parts to customer requirements
• To work closely with managers and supervisors
• To make a positive contribution to maintaining the workplace

Candidate Essential Skills & Experience

• A background within production or a similar mechanical assembly within Precision Engineering
• Able to work to engineering assembly drawings and work with a variety of mechanical tools
