As a result of ongoing growth, opportunities exist for a Mechanical Design Engineers to undertake technical and project orientated tasks within the engineering consultancy business or as an integral part of client`s project teams. The company are looking for talented, creative people to bring both practical and strategic vision to their projects.
Working within project teams you will be undertaking a range of design engineering related activities including: Requirements Engineering and Specification Writing; Concept Generation, Evaluation and Selection; System and Component Design; Design Assessments; Development of Design Documentation; Design Support to Manufacturing and Production; Verification and Validation Activities; Reliability Availability Maintainability Safety (RAMS) Assessments; Risk Assessments (both technical and project); Programme Management.
The projects you are likely to be working on initially will be focussed towards the nuclear, marine and rail sectors.
To succeed as Mechanical Design Engineer you will have a least a 2:1 degree.
This role requires SC Clearance so you must be either a British Citizen who has been living in the UK for the last 3 years minimum or of another nationality who has been living in the UK continuously for the last 5 years minimum.
