Job Description:

Working with the trading team, you will have an encyclopaedic knowledge of European football leagues and a brilliant mathematical mind. You will trade on in-running football matches, requiring an exceptionally high-level of numeracy. The role involves managing liability on live sporting events so the ability to make spot-on decisions while under pressure is essential.

Job Responsibilities:
• Trading on in-running football matches.
• Maintaining liabilities and thresholds in accordance to limits set by Trading.
• Managing content on our client’s website, and keeping it up-to-date.
• Ensuring that all price changes and delivery of events are timely and accurate.

The job will involve some amount of weekend/evening work to align with the timing of most football matches.

Requirements:
• Prior trading experience is not essential; the most important thing is a passionate knowledge of football, gambling, and a superb mathematical mind.
• An academic background focussed in a mathematical discipline would be highly advantageous.
• You must be computer literate.
• You should be a real team player, but also be able to work on one’s own initiative and able to self motivate.

Our client offers successful candidates heavily subsidised modern accommodation in Guernsey, and a very attractive trading bonus for exceptional performers.
