A well established, leading Insurance Company based in Bristol, currently seek a highly experienced Marketing Product & Planning Manager. This is a brand new role reporting into the Head of Marketing.
About the Role:
You will be required to lead and manage the marketing product and planning teams in order to deliver market leading customer propositions, marketing strategies and campaigns across all distribution channels. More specific duties will include;
- Management of Product Manager’s and Marketing Planner’s
- Develop the professional marketing knowledge and skills base of the team
- Develop product and marketing strategies, optimising opportunities and avoiding conflict
- Bring appropriate and well researched new products to market within reasonable timescales
- Work closely with other departments to ensure marketing plans and products are delivered on time and to the highest standard
Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the role of Marketing Product and Planning Manager, you must possess the following;
- Have previous experience of compiling and delivering new propositions into markets, across distribution channels including direct to consumer
- Substantial senior management experience
- The ability and experience to manage complex development projects
- Experience of managing change and conflict
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Experience of planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns
- The ability to produce detailed reports (including management reports)
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Marketing Diploma (or equivalent) would be desirable but not essential
- The ability to manage high - profile projects through to delivery
- A strong working knowledge of relevant software
- In - depth knowledge of marketing strategy/models and their application
- A creative, innovative mind
- Experience gained from within the Insurance industry would be an advantage but not essential
Salary/Benefits Information:
- A generous salary dependent on experience of up to £60,000 p.a
