The Client

Is an award winning, exciting, international media and events business serving a senior, professional readership in the global finance and investment market. Due to continued expansion a role has arisen for a talented & ambitious Marketing Manager.

Synopsis of the Role

Produce detailed marketing plans, budgets and schedules for each of the conferences within the US portfolio

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a lead generation plan that plots a logical customer journey from suspect to multi-purchaser.

Determine the ideal mix of customer acquisition channels (such as  direct mail, email campaigns, search engine optimisation, paid search, affiliate marketing, online advertising, partnerships, catalogues,  PR, promotions etc.) to acquire delegates at a sustainable cost per acquisition.

Work with the Digital Marketing team on content marketing campaigns via email, Google and LinkedIn to generate leads from downloads.

Undertake customer research and database analysis to better understand their needs and improve the sales and marketing approach.

Profile delegates into segments and develop campaigns and propositions to drive repeat purchase and engender customer loyalty.

Set up and execute email marketing campaigns on dotMailer. Analyse open and click rates and provide reports to conference producers.

Define and profile campaign data for email and direct mail campaigns from Dynamics CRM.

Brief design agency and then manage brochure production process through to fulfilment, mailing and tracking.

Copy writing - research relevant news articles and liaise with editorial and conference producers in order to write relevant, compelling, benefit driven copy for direct mail, email and website.

Manage US based printers and mail houses including agreeing and monitoring SLAs as well as negotiating lowest possible costs

Creation of email banners, online button and banner ads using Photoshop

Experience Required

Min 2 years + Conference Marketing Experience or Subs Marketing with exposure
