Marketing Manager – Leisure Co. - Bournemouth - £35k
A Marketing Manager, ideally with experience working in the Leisure / Travel / Tourism sector is required to work for this Leisure company in developing and driving all marketing, advertising , promotional campaigns both on and offline.
He / she will work as a member of the senior management team, reporting the board of directors, and will be responsible for contributing to the strategic planning of long term marketing opportunities to drive forward company objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage a strategic marketing plan
• Developing and maintaining public relations activity
• Communicate and present marketing ideas, opportunities and achievements to date to the Directors.
• Research and evaluate new opportunities to other regions to increase awareness and customer base.
• To manage and build effective mailing databases and customer records data through RMS and identify marketing opportunities.
• To budget manage
• Lead and support with designs of materials and branding marketing activity.
• To manage the production of marketing materials from proof reading, liaising with designers, printers and communication to team.
Key skills and experience
• Substantial experience of working as a Marketing Manager delivering marketing activity on and offline.
• Hands on use of design and marketing tools
• Significant and proven understanding of effective on-line marketing campaigns.
• Previous budget responsibilities, financial awareness and negotiation skills
• A good head for business, with strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
• Good understanding of the leisure/hospitality industry
