International FTSE 250 Publishing and Event Company, with offices worldwide, seek a Marketing Manager to join their Middle Eastern Life Sciences Division in Dubai to effectively market their B2B Exhibitions.

The Life Sciences Division produces more than 50 conferences and forums which enable medical professionals to understand better the latest trends in the Middle East healthcare sector, as well as of course producing major healthcare exhibitions. As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for creating and implementing an integrated marketing strategy for these exhibitions.

Based in Dubai, the Marketing Manager role is offering a salary of up to AED 16,000 pcm + benefits + relocation package. This is equivalent to approx. £35,000 per year tax free.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Create and implement integrated marketing strategy using full marketing mix
  • Managing PR agency in co-ordination with the Exhibition Director/Manager
  • Coordinating the design and production of all marketing collateral, including sales brochures, conference brochures, visitor tickets, print advertisements, web banners/emails etc
  • Using new media tools such as social platforms to create new marketing channels
  • Copy writing and proofing all marketing materials in conjunction with Exhibition
  • Managing and co-ordinating all external suppliers as well as internal departments

Ideal Candidate:

  • Educated to university degree standard or equivalent
  • Must have B2B events marketing experience in exhibitions
  • Thorough understanding of direct marketing initiatives including mail and email marketing
  • Online marketing experience including search engine optimisation and banner placement
  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English essential, spoken Arabic desirable
  • Ability to multi task with attention to detail and high accuracy
