Marketing Manager - Events/ Exhibitions

We are working with a Multi-award winning exhibition and publishing company who are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their events team. Working closely with the Event Director, Marketing Director and show team, this role will develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing plan, ensuring that attendance levels are achieved within budgeted expenditure limits.

Accountabilities of the role:

To produce and implement a marketing and promotional plan, including schedules for media, direct marketing and PR. This is to be fully-costed and showing measurable performance targets for each area of expenditure.

Working with the Marketing Director to source, brief and manage advertising creative, media, direct marketing and PR related to your exhibition, and to ensure that all materials accurately convey agreed messages.

Working with the Event Director, to identify and secure essential media partnerships and other third party promotional partnerships, delivering strategies to maximise their support for your exhibition.

To produce and manage a positive web presence for your exhibition which is easy to find and navigate, and which is regularly updated. Also, to ensure your exhibition is present and up to date on all relevant corporate and industry websites.

To track the effectiveness of all items of marketing communication as afar as possible against agreed performance measures, and produce a post-evaluation of your campaign

To manage the marketing budget, keeping accurate updated records, ensuring budgets are not overspent and ensuring that the company purchasing procedure is followed closely for all items of expenditure.

To work at on site at your exhibition, overseeing photography at show and managing specific events within the programme.

Applicants will have similar experience in events/ exhibition marketing, be self-motivated and ambitious.
