The Role: Marketing Manager Amsterdam

Salary: £35k + bonus

Location: You may be working in London at present and looking to relocate to Amsterdam, or may already be based in Holland.

The role:

Calling all conference-savvy Marketing Managers looking to take the next step in merry marketing careerdom; this dynamic company needs you to manage the London-based European marketing team with unwavering finesse and an unyielding drive to succeed.

You will need to create a harmonious work dynamic within the marketing team and confidently lead all marketing functions in the local offices, as well as manage the delegate sales and marketing operation across all conferences.

Experience required

Ideally, you will be a conference marketing guru with a proven track record of managing a dynamic, growth-focused marketing department within the commercial conference industry - which you will hold a profound knowledge of.

You will also have the following;

  • ØSuccessful and proven track record in leading a successful international marketing function
    ØProven collaborative skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners
    ØTrack record in recruiting and managing high performing individuals
    ØBudget setting, forecasting and P&L management
    ØTeam creation and expansion experience
    ØContributing to business direction and strategy at a senior level
    ØExcellent financial and reporting skills
    ØEffective management of marketing costs
    ØStrong communication skills - a little bit of charm and panache, the ability to suavely persuade, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain professional internal and external relationships.
    ØEnsure that a happy working dynamic is maintained within your marketing team and with other departments
    ØStrong leadership and consensus building skills;
    ØExtensive experience of developing, maintaining and delivering on marketing strategies to meet company objectives;
