In this crucial role, working in collaboration with the Insight research team and Insight business partners – you will be involved in measuring and enhancing the commercial impact of insight provided across the Group businesses, by developing and implementing analysis methodologies, and collaborating with the business to prioritise future insight programmes on highest value opportunities.
Reporting to the CVM Senior Analyst you’ll be accountable for:
§ Delivering post campaign analysis to assess the value of marketing activities, so that the business can continuously improve based on solid test and learn methodologies.
§ Championing the value of insight across the Group businesses, to ensure that the customers’ voice is always heard and consideration of insight data becomes a fundamental part of key strategic decision making processes.
§ Producing management information to show the impact of CVM insight provided, to ensure that evaluations are robust and accurate and result in reliable data that can be utilised to shape and secure commitment to the on-going insight agenda.
· Proven programming experience (e.g. SAS, SQL) and Understanding of targeting methodologies (including propensity models, attrition models and value forecasting models) is desirable to predict customer behaviour. Use this insight to add value to the business and the customer experience.
§ Collaborating with peers within the Insight team to identify highest value future opportunities to add commercial value, based on evaluation of previous activities, in order to help shape the strategic priorities for the Insight team and ensure that return on investment in data provision is maximised.
§ Liaising with peers within Marketing and the Trading businesses, to recommend the best methods for each task, and to confirm scope of analysis. Use recommendations from analysis to persuade peers to focus on value-adding activity.
§ Working together with the Insight team, supporting other colleagues, and ensuring analysis is accurate and consistent.

§ Detailed understanding of analysis methodologies
§ Good understanding of test and learn methodologies and post-action analysis techniques
§ Understanding of targeting methodologies including propensity models, attrition models and value forecasting models is desirable
§ Strong drive for quality assurance and proven track record in providing robust and accurate insight data
§ Proven programming experience (e.g. SAS, SQL)
§ Degree level or substantial Analytical business experience
§ Understanding of technical platform and capabilities in the market
§ Has a highly logical and evaluative approach to solving issues and assessing opportunities
§ Experience of working within a team environment, supporting others
§ Comfortable communicating with stakeholders around individual pieces of work, and making recommendations
