Our client is a leading IT solutions company with offices across the UK. They're looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join the team and help provide a strategic marketing function within the group. The focus of this role is to maximise the relationship between existing clients and help target new prospects.
The job:
• To plan, develop and execute a marketing strategy based on the objectives of the company
• Develop targeted direct mail and e-marketing campaigns to new and existing clients
• Manage client database- updating data and segmenting contacts using appropriate CRM software
• Manage the company's social media activities and update corporate website via CMS
• Create marketing material to support sales activities
• Help drive traffic and leads via SEO and PPC campaigns
• Produce marketing material including copy and content for online/ offline campaigns
• Work closely with management to achieve business objectives
• Act as events manager and coordinator
• Assist with any ad-hoc marketing requests
The person:
• Marketing Degree or Professional Marketing Qualification e.g. CIM
• Min 2 years marketing experience (IT sector experience preferred)
• Good knowledge of the full digital marketing mix
• Able to produce engaging copy and content
• Experience handling database and creating DM campaigns
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Great organisational skills and time management
• Creative and enterprising, providing ideas and strategies for success
• Commercial understanding, understanding the business goals
• Knowledge of the IT industry and SAP (a bonus)
• Confident on the phone and able to talk directly to clients
The ideal candidate will have strong DM experience and a good all-round creative skill set. This is essentially a standalone marketing role so you will need to be energetic, confident and able to work to specified objectives. Our client is looking for the successful candidate to join ASAP.
