An excellent opportunity for a Marketing/Business Studies graduate who has already gained some sales and marketing experience, to join our client’s busy Marketing Team based in the Oxford Office. The successful candidate will support the Marketing Manager in providing a first class responsive marketing support service to Partners and fee earners across the business.
Key tasks will include:
- Initially shadowing the Marketing Manager on submissions
- Learning about the company range of services
- Researching, preparing, managing and writing submissions
- Updating and maintaining the model Q&A’s
- Developing best practice for submissions
- Weekly review and progress reports
- Assisting the Marketing Manager with exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events and presentations
Applicants must be degree qualified with some sales and marketing experience, with good business acumen, energy, drive and enthusiasm. They should have an enquiring mind and be a good communicator/creative writer, able to develop easy relationships with colleagues and clients. Strong computer skills are essential, including DTP, MS Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
The successful candidate will be a creative, lateral thinker with the ability to identify new ideas and initiatives and must be passionate about what they do.
The person appointed will work closely with the Marketing Manager in the preparation of documents, learning about the business and proactively contributing and writing material, with the objective of developing the role to take ownership and management of submissions. This new post also offers an excellent opportunity to develop into a broader marketing and business development role.
