Our client is a recognisable brand with a enviable reputation in it's sector. They are currently recruiting a Marketing Communications Manager who will have accountability for the development and delivery of 'Above the Line' marketing communications on a national basis.

You will drive 'awareness', 'desire' and 'ROI' through customer centric and joined up marketing planning with a multitude of agencies. This role will fundamentally drive the brand development towards "Customer Excellence - the Customer's way", focused on creating 1-2-1 individual customer relationships.

The main responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of an annual strategic plan which drives the function to deliver against the company vision. Deliver targeted increases in 'awareness' and 'desire' through clever utilisation of spend in the channels most valued by their customers.

Whilst working primarily with 'Above the Line' media (TV, press, radio etc), you must operate as an exceptional communicator to influence the interwoven relationship between all marketing channels to include 'Digital' and 'Below the Line' Marketing'.

You will also be expected to appoint, lead, motivate and measure a substantial agency structure in delivering effective, joined up and challenging marketing. Inject 'innovation', world class 'forward thinking', and superior 'customer insight' into everything you do to ensure the organisation always maximise their active customer base.

Realise the ultimate balance between 'brand', 'product' and 'tactical' advertising to ensure the company deliver against their short term sales requirements, and continue to grow the brand for the future.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in 'Above the Line' Marketing and Communications (Agency / Client side accepted). You must also be competent and passionate communicator able to deliver buy in and belief from a multitude of different stakeholders including customers, agencies, field teams and internal management. You will be an individual who exudes naturalenthusiasm for organisational brands and the value they bring to the consumer and 'routes to market'.

Additionally you must be action orientated with a proven track record of directly driving action through external partner agencies as well as financially and commercially astute with previous experience of significant budget management.
