Our client has over the last 10 years grown from a small business into a truly global organisation now employing circa 200 people. Within the last 12 months the Group has dedicated more resource to the marketing of the Group on a global basis. As both the Group and the function grows further additional resource is required. This role will support the Group Head of Marketing, Communications and Product Development with various marketing initiatives including:
Job Role:
* Manage marketing campaigns to promote the company to EMEA, Asia and US contacts using Dotmailer. Set up individual campaigns in Dotmailer, extract contacts and monitor responses, tracking reporting of each campaign.
* Liaising with Graphical Agency in the production of the following marketing items:
i. Annual Review - overview of services and achievements for the year
ii. Technical Newsletters - quarterly communication on recent news and recent industry developments. Technical Newsletters are sent to our full contacts database using Dotmailer
iii. Advertisements and editorial in industry publications
iv. Banner adverts online
v. Any other media
* Press Releases - Maintaining Press Contacts lists communicating relevant stories to press contacts and ensuring appropriate coverage
* Webinars - Managing the hosting of webinars to communicate industry developments and the companies role in these developments
* Maintaining Website - Use of content management system to make any amends to the website, updating press releases and other items as and when required
* Google reporting/analytics - Reporting on Google positioning for quarterly Board papers and on an on-going basis
* Setting up and monitoring social media - Twitter and Linkedin as determined appropriate
Corporate Messaging - Working with the Group Head of Marketing to ensure that Marketing messaging is effectively communicated to all levels across the organisation (Executives, Shareholders, Staff globally)
Functional Areas and Responsibilities - The Marketing team is a very small team, currently two and shortly to be three. As a consequence the right candidate will over time, and subject to performance, have the opportunity to gain specific responsibility for many of the above and be the key driver to ensure completion.
The ideal candidate will have a real `can-do` attitude to work, someone who can work on their own initiative as well as within a small team.
The role will provide support to the Group on a global basis. Attention to detail is of paramount importance in this role as the candidate will need to prepare both internal and external communications on a regular basis.
Essential Qualifications
Marketing degree/qualification or equivalent
Desirable Experience
Experience of using Dotmailer email marketing package or similar would be an advantage.
Understanding of Social Media (Twitter, LinkedIn) in a business environment.
Use of Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and basic Excel.
