Job Description
Your duties will include:
Management of three direct reports: Market Risk & Analysis Manager, Market Risk Data & Trade Control Manager and Market Risk Strategic Analysis Manager.
Provide efficient and insightful market risk reporting, analysis and data validation, dynamically responding to market and business change.
Make recommendations to the Head of Energy Market & Credit Risk and the Risk Control Committee to improve reporting and operational risks associated with trading life cycles
Ensure analysis and challenge is provided for business initiatives such as new investments, hedging strategies and products.
Person Specification
To be eligible for this specialist vacancy please ensure you meet the following criteria:
An advanced theoretical and practical understanding of the energy trading risk management, energy markets and energy asset portfolios.
Extensive experience and deep understanding of energy market risks and their management, trading life cycle and the practical implementation of risk indicator methodologies.
Must have excellent stakeholder management skills
Must have strong management skills and the ability to challenge and motivate
Experience of providing market risk reporting, analysis and data validation
