Market Analyst

Leading research consultancy based in Leatherhead, Surrey is recruiting for a Market Analyst.  You will take a pivotal role in expanding their market databases, while using economic and statistical models for their reports.

As a Market Analyst, you will be ensuring that their systems are up to date through primary based research as well as conducting market research surveys and telephone questionnaires.

Ideally you'll be a Graduate with an Economics/Maths/Statistics degree and have a background with primary or secondary market research.

Main duties:

• Maintain, update, expand and check the company’s internal databases
• Format and also help devise market research surveys
• Maintain and expand data sourced from / contact secondary information sources
• Extract appropriate data from databases for use in market research reports
• Report writing
• Ensure statistics across all outputs (reports and consulting) are consistent and accurate.
• Primary research through telephone interviewing
• Basic commentary and analysis of data and forecast models.

Requirements:

• Graduate calibre, preferable in economics / maths / statistics discipline
• Ideally 2 years of primary and secondary market research
• High level of numeracy
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
