Job Description
• Lead the engineering team
• Develop effective methods plan
• Provide optimum tooling to shop
• Determine and maintain shop floor setup and cycle time.
• Develop process, set-up sheets and standard operating procedures
• Develop in-process inspection sheet for machinists
• Resolve and troubleshoot all technical issues that arise in machine shop.
• Participate in NCR rework and corrective action with QA.
• Actively involved in HSE activities
• Perform time study to measure standard time variance
• Implement lean 6 sigma initiatives
• Well verse in CNC program product control process & improvement
• Provide engineering support to and develop vendors/suppliers
• Perform proactive measurement and continuous improvements
• Work with other departments in managing budget, schedule, quality and safety goals
Person Specification
• Minimum Degree in Engineering / Material Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in oil and gas preferable
