Organisation Description
A major service provider to Qatar Airways is looking for a head of safety for their international head office based at the New Doha International Airport in Qatar.
Job Description
• You will carry out management inspections / audits of operational areas at airside to ensure routine inspections are carried out by safety officers to the required standard.
• Provide advice and guidance to senior and line managers on all matter pertaining to the safe operation of the airport.
• Initiate and conduct risk assessments and safety cases for the airport and prepare safety letters and recommend corrective actions.
Person Specification
• You MUST have a minimum of 10 years experience as a safety officer with the last 5 years as a senior safety officer within an international airport.
• At least 8 years aviation experience in airport operations
• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
