Nature and aim of the position
To oversee the development and execution of consumer campaigns and performance analytics as organization’s new CRM programs market research, analytics and campaign management function.
Main duties and responsibilities
o Program Analytics and Tracking: Working with the Relationship Marketing Manager, media team, Business Intelligence and agency partners to develop campaign tracking, analytics and modelling that will improve the effectiveness of Organization’s consumer marketing effort.
o Planning and Deployment: Development of budgets and plans, ensuring that campaigns acheive optimal ROI and grow revenue in line with the business strategy.
o Data strategy and management: Building a strategy for consumer data collection in line with business objectives. Overseeing data stewardship and implementation of business rules by the Corp IT team.
o Segmentation: Use behavioural and external data to understand the key traveller segments. This information will inform marketing resource decisions and focus.
o Campaign Management: Work with the external CRM agency and internal IT team to develop camapaign management capability and processes. Sourcing soiftware solutions and hiring resource as required.
o Recruit and manage two direct reports.
Person Specification
o Educated to degree level.
o 13+ Years of database marketing experience, including 10+ years of consumer B2C experience.
o A track record of excellent campaign management and data-driven marketing, preferably from a data led environment (Retail, travel, Research Agency etc)
o Skilled in CRM as well as knowledgeable about campaign measurement and consumer insight.
o A good understanding of digital & social media and the tools and processes required for online monitoring and measurement an advantage.
o Excellent attention to detail and able to analyse data and articulate insights
o Experience working with large volume data, including mining, segmentation, predictive modelling or decision support services
o A solid technical background, with an in depth understanding of relevant technical infrastructure, industry and data definitions or standards
Specific skills and knowledge
o Technical knowledge of loyalty/database marketing.
o Strong understanding and interest in digital marketing and technology
o Highly technical, IT experience preferred
o Proven track record in external agency management
o Highly analytical and numerate.
