Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Nuclear Safety the key responsibilities are:
• Develop and maintain procedures for the development of regulations and guides focusing on nuclear power plant safety, radiation safety and nuclear security.
• Manage the development of regulations, guides and standards applicable for the transporting of nuclear material and the safe usage of a commercial nuclear power reactor.
• Take responsibility for regulatory duties associated with safety, security and safeguards at nuclear facilities.
• Responsibility for recruiting, training and developing a multi-cultural team.
Person Specification
Candidates should have 8 years experience working at a nuclear regulator or international nuclear agency. A comprehensive understanding of nuclear safety, security and safeguards is required. The ability to manage and develop a team is preferred. A tax free package of 70,000 AED a month ($230k per annum) + benefits + bonus.
