Management Accounts Analyst - Daventry - up to £27.5k plus benefits

 Europa are currently seeking a Management Accounts Analyst to provide a management information service to the directors and managers within the technical services division of the business. You will be required to assist in the recording, preparation and monitoring of the financial accounts.

The key responsibilities for the Management Accounts Analyst will include:

  •  To prepare contract profitability reports, contract costing schedules and contract budgets.
  • To assist in the preparation of costings for new contract quotations and tenders.
  • To prepare and analyse information for reporting on contract accounts including profitability, reconciliation, variance.
  • To assist in the design and development of new systems and processes.
  • To maintain financial system and amend to reflect business change.
  • To ensure timely completion of all month end procedures including reconciliation of control accounts and recommend final adjustments to the management accounts to the Commercial Finance Manager.
  • To provide information, support and analysis to the Commercial Finance Manager for strategic and operational decisions.
  • To measure and analyse potential opportunities versus risks both internally and externally.
  • To work with internal & external customers, to actively support and initiate team work to achieve the greater good.

The successful Management Accounts Analyst will have:

  • Newly or Part Qualified (ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with a proven background in delivering high quality reports and analysis
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work flexibly under pressure
