Organisation Description
Our client, a multinational manufacturing organisation are seeking a french speaking management accountant to join their expanding business.
Reporting directly to the Financial Director your purpose is will be to ensure that the financial reporting and controls demanded are timely, informative and achieved to a high standard of accuracy.
Job Description
The preparation and publication of all KPI reports to timetables agreed.
The involvement in drafting and preparation of Budgets for management control and planning purposes, to timetables agreed.
The reporting of actuals against budgets and/or forecasts to timetables agreed which will be at least monthly and will as a minimum include separate and consolidated Profit and Loss account.
The analysis of actuals against variances to budgets and forecasts as required.
The review and analysis of such cost drivers as identified by the management and Directors of the companies.
The management on the raising, control and analysis of all credit notes.
Full detailed and substantiated reconciliations of the following Balance Sheet items
• Trade Creditors, back to base currency.
• Customer rebate provisions and payments
• Stock Valuations and movements reconciled and reported
• The implementation and management of Stock counts used to verify the amounts declared on the Balance Sheets.
Trade Creditors will also involve the approval and codification of supplier invoices and the raising and control of all payments. This will also require cash forecasting of same and reporting based on the business needs determined by the Directors.
The role will also require preparation of Statutory Accounts to Audit level of the specified list above.
Staff management.
Person Specification
Fully Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CGMA
A good communicator at all levels of management
A detailed and inquisitive mind set able to work alone and alongside others
Supportive, and capable of developing and motivating others
Fluent in French, both written and verbal
Knowledge of French Accounting would be a distinct advantage
