Organisation Description
I am currently seeking a Management Accountant for a newly created permanent position with my worldwide manufacturing and distribution client based in Worcestershire.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the accounts department are correctly controlled, valued and reported. This role is a progressive role with a view to becoming FD in a few years and to grow with the business and it's plans.
Job Description
• Responsible for the control of the nominal and purchase ledger
• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly and annual accounts
• Ensure internal controls are adhered to inline with Group policies and financial regulations
• Preparation and producing the VAT return and intra stat returns
• Reconciliation of accounts including the bank reconciliation
• Coordinate and maintain cash forecasting system.
• Produce the daily sales report and distribute to the relevant managers.
• Liaise with all levels of staff within the company.
• Monitor product purchasing costs with Purchasing and product selling prices with the Sales Director to ensure margin maximization.
• Oversee credit control processes
• Any other duty as reasonably requested by the Company.
Person Specification
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Relevant industry experience
