Management Accountant

The provision of management information has been limited and so this is a new position and thus a fairly open job spec.

Initial Focus work with the Finance Director to:

• Set up a full detailed budget by revenue stream and cost centre, covering P& L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Develop a comprehensive management accounts pack for weekly , monthly and annual reporting On-going duties and responsibilities
• Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports to senior management
• Analysing variances and exploring potential problems with line managers
• Developing , implementing and analysis KPIs
• Developing and maintaining a capital expenditure
  Ideal person specification
  • Exposure of working in a retail/wholesale fashion environment is ESSENTIAL. Please do not apply if you don't have this exposure.
  • An accounting or business degree
  • Part Qualified or pursuing a recognised accounting qualification
  • High degree of communication skills, particularly attuned to working well with non-finance professionals First hand exposure to producing management accounts
  • First hand exposure to planning, budgeting and forecasting

  Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
