Job Description
Management Accountant to join our Finance team within the Core Services Division. The primary focus of the role is to produce timely, accurate and reliable monthly reporting packs and ensure ledger accuracy by performing top level reconciliations. The position involves working closely with the commercial team to provide financial input into project costing’s, utilisation rates and any adhoc projects. Reporting to the Financial Controller.
Person Specification
• Qualified Accountant with one of the professional accounting bodies
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
• Good knowledge of Budgeting and forecasting issues and techniques
• Effective Communications and time management skills
• Pro-active & self-motivated
• Analytical skills
The ideal candidate will:
• Produce Full Month End Management Accounts.
• Maintain Fixed Asset register.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Complete VAT Returns.
• Monitor and report on cash flow position and forecasts and investigate variances against budgets and provide an analysis of differences.
• Complete responsibility for commercial activity reporting and intercompany recharging
• Work closely with the commercial team to provide financial input into project costing’s ,utilisation rates and any adhoc projects
• Maintain project and timesheet systems.
• Lead Project and Revenue KPI reporting
