Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The provision of maintenance services to the company.
Managing a team of maintenance engineers & subcontract maintenance.
Ensuring the repair of plant and machinery and other general maintenance to ensure optimum efficiency for the Company
Introducing and maintaining a total productive maintenance (TPM) system to satisfy TS and VDA quality standards
Managing maintenance budgets and expenditure
Ensuring the repair of the plant, machinery and other general maintenance to ensure the optimum efficiency for the business.
Responsible for developing regular maintenance schedules within the company
Ensuring that maintenance schedules are kept up to date and amended as required, including communication of any changes to the team
Person Specification
• Holds a formal mechanical or electrical qualification
• Considerable maintenance and project management experience
• Has recent experience of working with TS and VDA quality systems
• Organising and planning skills
• Communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Competence in using Microsoft Office
• Experience of managing a team would be desirable.
• Experience of introducing either a TS or VDA system would be desirable.
