We are recruiting for our client, Reades Maintenance, a well known local company that provides high quality maintenance support services to the Reades Group of Companies, including Reades Residential.
Due to its continued success, Reades Maintenance is now looking for a hard-working, conscientious individual to join the team as Maintenance Administrator working from prestigious offices to the centre of Hawarden Village.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible individual, capable of making sound decisions and maintaining a professional attitude at all times. A naturally enthusiastic person, you must be self-motivated, possess strong communication, interpersonal and time management skills, an excellent team player, although able to work just as effectively alone, truly organised and committed to getting the job done to the highest possible standard. With established, proven systems already in place, you will need to be accomplished in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook, have the aptitude to learn new systems and capable of working in a technology-centric environment.
Overview of the role:
- Utilise maintenance experience to deal swiftly and effectively with reactive maintenance issues over the phone and via electronic communication
- Carry out initial fault diagnosis and offer advice on appropriate course of action
- Assess level of works required and instruct appropriate contractor to affect repair/quote as required
- Assess subcontractor quotations to ensure competitively priced and value for money
- Prepare quotations and liaise with clients for go ahead
- Organise appointments calendar for scheduled testing and maintenance works
- Arrange access with tenants
- Host/attend meetings as necessary
- Maintain subcontractor database to ensure compliance (up to date insurance, accreditations, qualifications etc.)
- Scan and file paperwork
- Data entry using bespoke software (training given)
- Assist with general administrative duties to ensure smooth running of department
Previous experience in a similar role is a must as is a sound knowledge of general property maintenance. Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to keep a cool head under pressure and impeccable attention to detail are also essential attributes for the position.
