Job Description
As a Letting Assistant you will be responsible for excellent customer service satisfaction, promote quality customer care and provide an efficient and customer focused choice Based Lettings service with the borough.
Your main duties will include:
Providing a first point of access for a Choice Based Letting Service and Housing Advice service either by telephone or through one to one interviews
Ensuring all relevant legislation and polices are adhered to - carrying out assessments of housing need on individual cases, and eligibility to join the housing register
Processing within target times written, electronic and verbal requests regarding housing allocations
Referring to appropriate applications to specialists internal and external teams
Ensuring properties are advertised within deadlines and in a professional manner
Letting empty homes as quickly as possible and ensuring all stages of the process meet designed targets
Dealing efficiently and effectively with complaints, enquiries and disputes, using a non-judge mental approach and only escalating it to others when its appropriate.
