Our client is a highly successful firm which was first established over 150 years ago and now employs over 1200 people in offices around the country. They are a full service law firm and invest time in order to build good working relationships with clients. They endeavour to provide a responsive and friendly service to their clients.
We now a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to assist in providing support to the Commercial Litigation team in Berkshire on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be engaged in typing documentation, bills, attendance notes, correspondence, reports and file notes. They will deal with telephone queries from clients and manage diaries of the Legal team and organise meetings and any relevant travel arrangements as required by the team. There will also be routine administrative duties such as opening and closing files and filing of incoming and outgoing post and correspondence.
You will be an experienced Legal Secretary with a minimum typing speed of 70wpm. You must have excellent presentation and organisational skills in order to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines. You must have a good working knowledge of digital dictation, Outlook and Word. Knowledge of Powerpoint and Excel would also be desirable. You will be methodical with excellent attention to detail. You are friendly and helpful in your approach to delivering a high quality service to clients and colleagues alike. You must be adaptable and able to work well under pressure. You will have excellent communication skills.
