You’ll be part of a global operation involved in the provision of legal advice, prosecution services, guidance and training on all aspects of military law including operational law/the Law of Armed Conflict. Army Legal Services offer a range of high-profile work in the UK and you could travel, deployed as a legal officer on operations.
The Army is looking for exceptional people to fill these challenging posts. You might be newly qualified, or already have several years legal experience. What’s important is having the right personal attributes: physically fitness, mental courage, leadership qualities, resilience, strong moral values and selfless commitment. You’ll need an interest in the military as you’ll be joining the Army, serving your country, in this specialist position..
As a qualified solicitor, barrister or advocate qualified in England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you’ll have a relevant degree, (normally a 2:1 or above, or a equivalent GDL/CPE pass); a good LPC or BVC/BPTC pass; and suitable references.
