The Lead Java Developer will be responsible for creating & maintaining a middleware messaging environment & delivering front end & back office Java applications. The Lead Java Developer will have the opportunity to take ownership of exciting new solutions. The emphasis is on timely delivery of solutions & enhancements, with the support of my client's in-house design resources. Are you up for a challenge! Work in a fast paced role requiring you to be pro-active & adaptable!  You will also need an eye for innovation. The Lead Java Developer will be developing solutions which integrate with both in-house & external systems, for a variety of audiences, including Customer Services Teams, or Businesses & Consumers. hand-coded development experience of eCommerce platforms is valued more than one’s ability to configure an Open Source platform. There is an element of team management & training of staff in Java technologies, for which there is no current experience in the team.

6. Cross-browser compatibility
