A highly successful, quality kitchen manufacturing and installation organisation are looking to add value to their team by taking on another Kitchen Surveyor.
Job Description
Kitchen Survey
To check kitchen plans against house layouts and modify where necessary
If required, make minor adjustments to kitchen plans and communicate changes
with customer and factory
Place orders with suppliers and factory
Coordinate the delivery, installation and handover of kitchens with fitters and
customers.
Quality
Ensure quality of finished product is in line with quality standards undertake routine
checks.
Ensure compliance with procedures across all operational activities.
Ensure that workplace organization and housekeeping are of the highest standard.
Maintain accurate records in line with the quality control plan.
Ensure that the quality of raw materials and products is compliant with specification
and fit for purpose.
Purchasing and Stock Control
Place orders with suppliers and factory on a timely basis
Check invoicing is in line with agreed rates
Health and Safety
Ensure that all employees and subcontractors are fully trained in the relevant health
and safety requirements of their jobs and that they comply with the company health
and safety policy.
Ensure that all relevant health and safety documentation is updated and compliant
with customer requirements
Person Specification
The successful candidate must have at least 2 years experience of managing the installation of a quality product, where the ability to analyse and understand complex designs is key. These plans will be used to ensure that the trade professionals are working closely to an agreed schedule and that a quality product is delivered on time and to budget.
