Web Designer / Front-end Developer

A web designer / front end web developer who’s hungry to learn with some commercial experience to build on and the right learning proactive attitude will get this established and successful retail company welcoming you with open arms! 

Working within their small but talented creative and marketing team you’ll focus on designing for their customer facing website and will design engaging, user friendly and on-brand web and digital communication solutions. 

You’ll create, manage and upload the design of web assets across online channels, including e-commerce websites, Facebook pages, blog, and other external sites. Working alongside web developers you’ll develop first class web experiences, acting as front-end designer, specifying and managing digital design work and ensuring engaging online experience their customers every time. This is a great entry level opportunity for an ambitious talented web/ graphic design Graduate with confident web design and front-end development skills. You’ll have some experience, agency or client side, to build on with work in your portfolio demonstrating your ability to apply your talents in the commercial world.  

Confident skills in Photoshop and  HTML/ CSS are essential, ideally as well as good knowledge of Flash and JavaScript,  with bags of initiative, creative flair and excellent communication and organisational skills. 

In return you can expect a salary of £18k - £21k dependent on experience (possibly a little more for the perfect person!) and a supportive friendly team who will be there to encourage you allowing you to progress your design career. 

Due to their location, your own transport is essential to be able to get there.
