Junior Software Consultant

Junior Software Consultant with a strong academic background in Mathematics (an A grade at A-Level standard is essential) required by small yet long established IT solutions organisation to join their team as a result of continued growth.

The role will be challenging & varied but will suit someone looking to make the break into the world of software development whilst also using their broader people skills. Full training will be provided albeit any prior exposure to database programming (SQL Server) would be advantageous. Key elements of the role will include;

• overseeing the technical support helpdesk
• leading mobile application development projects that have been outsourced, including maintaining them post release
• visiting customer sites to provide implementation services (need to be willing to travel worldwide for this)
• developing contained utility programs in any development environment (.NET/C#, Java or similar)
• maintaining core application in a Delphi environment
