Junior .NET Developer

My client is an innovative software company based in Newcastle upon Tyne and they are looking to expand their growing team with the addition of a Junior/Graduate .NET Developer.  The role will offer excellent career progression opportunities and training on the latest technologies.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and enthusiastic graduate developer with a minimum of 1 year of experience using Microsoft technologies.  My client could also be interested in a non-graduate who can demonstrate commercial experience in a similar capacity, but any candidate must be able to evidence existing technical skills in C# and .NET development combined with a willingess to learn emerging technologies.

The candidate may also be required to liaise with my client's customers so should have excellent communication skills and be confident in presenting to a range of people.

The technical skills the candidate should have an understanding of include:-

C#, .NET 3.5, 4.0, ASP.NET
IIS
HTML/CSS
Web Services
SQL Server 2005/2008
Experience in XML/XSLT
JQuery/JavaScript
Good understanding of current Web standards/Browsers

The following would also be advantageous:-

MVC
SOAP
