Junior Implementation Consultant - TRADACOMS, EDIFACT, X12, XML / CSV

Using their own in-house application suite, our client provides a fully managed EDI solution. Due to recent growth within the business, an opportunity has now arisen for a Junior Implementation Consultant to join their team.
Benefitting from full solution and methodologies training, as well as the opportunity to progress into a more senior role, this is the ideal position for an IT support or implementation professional with a proven track record of working to EDI standards.
As a Junior Implementation Consultant, you will implement electronic data interchange (EDI) software for clients, speaking to them regularly via the phone. You will configure client and trading partner connections within our client's application.
Your duties will include:
- Liaising with client technical teams to test EDI messages
- Logging issues arising and liaising with mapping resources
- Producing weekly reports for project managers and/or clients
- Liaising with trading partner technical teams
- Providing client training
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A background in software support or implementation
- Experience of working to EDI standards such as TRADACOMS, EDIFACT, X12 and/or file formats such as XML or CSV
As a Junior Implementation Consultant, you must have a flexible approach and excellent communication skills including a superb telephone manner. Methodical and analytical, the ability to work to deadlines is key.
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 would be beneficial to your application, but this is by no means essential.
