A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Job Coach to join our forward thinking company.

Work with customers to support and mentor their personal journey into work by providing them with an individually tailored service based on their individual action plan. This will range from developing an effective plan for customers to achieve their contractual targets through to continued support and mentoring throughout their programme into sustained employment, ensuring milestones and targets are met through progress reviews.


The post holder will:

  • Work with customers, colleagues, partners and employers to achieve job outcomes that are sustained and meet with the action plans of customers
  • Provide an individually tailored service for all customers, based on their action plan which will lead to customers getting and sustaining work
  • Monitor and review the customer progression against agreed milestones.
  • Manage and support customers with job searching activities, build rapport and motivate the customer to achieve the required outcome.
  • Deliver a high quality job and vacancy matching service for customers, with the principle of 'right job first time’ delivering long term job sustainability
  • Work closely with Employment Consultant and Work Skills Tutor to ensure that the action plan is correct and achieved to schedule
  • Work with Employer Relationship Manager to identify suitable placement and job opportunities
  • Will refer customers to the Career Coach at the appropriate time to ensure that employment is sustained
  • Deliver high levels of job sustainability, customer and satisfaction and quality of service.
  • Liaise with placement provider and customer to ensure that the placement is completed and that all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcome
  • Offer continued support and mentoring throughout the customers time with Avanta and on to sustainment of employment
  • Support customers as required in job focused activities to enable them to achieve personal targets which contribute to the performance targets of your area of responsibility
  • Manage an effective caseload to time, positive outcome and quality standards
  • Deliver agreed targets on outcomes and quality
  • Document customer progression and any changes to action plans, gaining the customers signed agreement to any changes
