Java Developer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Java Developer to join well established blue chip organisation based at their prestigious offices in Basingstoke.
As a Java Developer you will have a minimum of 3 years experience of analysis, design, development of Java with ideally 3 plus years coding experience in a J2EE application server environment (e.g. SpringSource tcServer, Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere).
As a Java Developer you will also ideally have at least 2 years database experience (preferably Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL), including SQL, schema design and optimisation and ideally extensive knowledge of the Spring Framework.
Familiarity with an Agile software development (e.g. Scrum, XP) would be highly desirable.
Desired experience:
Experience of development in an eCommerce environment (e.g. hybris)
Experience with build/utility tools such as Ant
Experience with Search Solutions (e.g. Solr/Lucene, Endeca)
Experience with CMS Solutions (e.g. Day, Alfresco)
Experience in a dynamic language such as Ruby or Perl
Familiarity with Eclipse
