Java Developer - Merseyside  - 35-45k

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a growing software business in Merseyside.  The company have numerous leading edge data products that are sold internationally within a very niche market.

The successful Java developer will be assisting in the development of a new product range through agile and test driven development (TTD) techniques.  The role will require the Java Developer to gather and discuss requirements with the in house team, forming and discussing software designs, developing those designs and successful delivery of these products within time and budget to clients.

The role will report to the Head of Development but will also be working alongside an experienced Development Team in-house and more Junior Developers within the team.

You must have proven experience of the Java Development (5+ years) within a Linux/Oracle Agile development environment.  At least a few years of Spring, MVC, Hibernate, Maven and SQL coding.  We are looking for a creative thinker with strong technical knowledge with the possibility of moving into a team leader role in the near future.  High Quality Development and Quality Control are a must for this position.
