Java Consultant Financial/ Banking Tech Client Facing 40K CRM

The Systems Engineer is a senior role in the Information Systems Team at My client. The role reports to the Head of Information Systems based in Reading.The role  is office based although from time to time travel maybe required to our offices in the UK or America.

The consultant will expect to play a key role in the design, development, deployment and integration of applications .

Responsibilities

• Configuration and customisation of core systems
• Programming
• System and performance monitoring
• Assistance with estimation and project planning
• Impact analysis


The following experience will be of use to the candidates:
• Financial systems and terminology.
• Web services, Web servers, Application Servers ( IIS )

Other skills include Java , J2EE , XML , Spring , .NET , C# , ERP and CRM

This role is 50-60% development and will suit someone who wants to get out of a purely development role and move into a role with more business analysis , configeration , team leading etc - this is a client facing development role .
