Japanese Translator/ Quality Assurance

Language Insight is an industry-leading translation company, providing language services in both document and audio formats for clients based around the world and across a variety of industries.

As a Japanese Translator/Quality Assurer, you will be based in our London office 15 minutes' walk from London Bridge tube station (Northern, Jubilee Lines).

Skills required:

• Fluent Japanese speaker
• BA or higher in translation or interpreting
• Experience translating English to Japanese and vice-versa
• Experience translating medical texts
• Knowledge of the Japanese medical system or experience working for the medical industry
• Proofreading experience and able to pay close attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple projects under pressure
• Good communication (verbal and written) and conflict resolution skills
• Experienced using Microsoft Office
• Confirmit experience preferable
• HTML knowledge preferable

Key responsibilities:

• Quality assure document translations (English into Japanese)
• Quality assure audio translations (Japanese into English)
• Check online questionnaires in target language
• Recruitment of freelancers
