IT Tech Solutions Architect

Our client, a leading Financial Services provider is looking for an IT Solutions Architect who will, with support from the IT Management team, define an appropriate strategic level enterprise architecture in line with the 5 year business plan.  In partnership with the business change teams and the wider business, provide independent design review of proposed technical solutions and consultancy to ensure that they are fit for purpose and are consistent with the enterprise level architecture vision.   As a partner with the business, be proactive in providing innovative and forward thinking technology solutions that will enable the company to achieve business targets.

Implement appropriate controls to ensure all solutions are subject to consistent design principles that meet the strategy

Provide consultation to change projects to enable solutions to be developed that are consistent with the enterprise level vision

Construct proposals and recommendations that will positively re-engineer the existing IT landscape to achieve cost savings and reduce business risk

Proactively support the business in bringing technology solutions to the table when considering business growth or optimisation opportunities

Essential Background/Experience:

• Financial Services
• Solid experience / exposure at all levels
• They will probably have around 10 years working in IT
• 5+ years experience supporting business change
• Evidence and experience of working at a strategic level
• Up to date with current technologies / technically strong
