Our client is a well-established services company based in Salisbury, with a number of satellite offices nationwide.
Your role will be interesting and varied and will include the following, working with their specialist software provider to allow enhancement to the management systems, working with hardware support and telecoms providers to ensure fast and sustainable running of their network across the office network, providing 1st line desktop, network and server support to office based and remote users, setting up PCs for new users and decommissioning PCs at the end of lifecycle (installing OS, updates, software, etc), and working with the wider team to continue to develop the company's online presence and customer services.
A strong and wide ranging IT background is essential for this role as are excellent communication skills. You will also be required to visit the satellite offices on occasion and so a full clean driving licence is essential.
