Our well known client based in Andover is looking for an IT Support Technician to join their busy team.

Reporting to IT Business Systems Manager, the role is to assist the team in providing technical support:

Answering support queries via phone and email, taking ownership of problems and being proactive in dealing with end-user issues whilst maintaining a high degree of customer service.

Assisting in the setting up of new equipment (including PC's and laptops), general maintenance of peripheral devices and escalating issues where necessary, setting up reporting routines that run on a regular basis and involvement in IT projects.

The ideal candidate will have good problem solving skills, a hands on proactive approach and willingness to learn, be flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team.

 The ideal candidate must have:

  • Previous IT support experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems and Microsoft Exchange
  • Working knowledge of Linux based servers.
  • Good understanding of PC Hardware set-up and configuration.

Salary £ 21,000 pa
