Our client is an award-winning, leading travel provider that’s big on promoting from within. They currently have an excellent opportunity for an English and Spanish speaking IT Support Technician to join their vibrant, successful and innovative culture in Palma, Mallorca.
This is the ideal opportunity for an English and Spanish speaking customer-focused IT professional with experience of installing, troubleshooting and administering Windows 7 looking to join an award-winning company at the forefront of a competitive industry. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing pivotal and comprehensive support to our client’s IT infrastructure. Acting as the first point of contact for our client’s user base, you will ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times.
Prioritising and providing timely updates and resolutions for all user issues and queries, you will be tasked with providing effective 1st and 2nd line telephone, desk side and remote support to users, escalating issues when required.
Additionally, you will provide integral training to end users across a wide variety of our client’s applications, ensuring they use the IT infrastructure and equipment effectively.
To be considered, you must be fluent in Spanish, in addition to English, and possess experience of the following:
- Installing, troubleshooting and administering Windows 7
- Deploying and troubleshooting Office 2010 applications
- Remote support tools
- User administration of Active Directory and Exchange 2010
- Hardware support
- Supporting Blackberry, Android and iOS devices
As an IT Support Technician, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the superb interpersonal abilities and a keen eye for detail. Customer-focused and enthusiastic, you must have strong problem solving abilities and be able to adhere to deadlines effectively.
